Obesity-Ready

Obesity-Ready

Learn on Sunday.Treat on Monday.

Patients are already asking about GLP-1 medicines and the new semaglutide generics. Obesity-Ready gets practising doctors ready to start treatment safely, follow patients up, and run an obesity clinic that works in Indian practice.

Obesity-Ready India

21 days, about 10 minutes a day, ending on World Obesity Day.

The summit

One Sunday that changes what you do in clinic on Monday

A one-day meeting for practising doctors: real cases, generic medicines and their doses, side effects you will actually see, and how to set up an obesity clinic within the NMC rules.

29 Nov 2026Sunday, 8:45 am to 5:15 pm
HyderabadVenue to be announced
250 doctorsin the main hall
100 seatsin the hands-on workshop
09:00–11:00

The core

Diagnosis beyond BMI for Indians. The semaglutide generics era: quality, dose equivalence and cost to the patient. Starting and titrating GLP-1 medicines and tirzepatide. Side effects, and when to stop.

11:20–12:50

Case clinic

Three real cases with live voting: GLP-1 in CKD, in PCOS, and in an elderly patient losing muscle. Ask the pharmacologist. A diet prescription patients follow.

13:45–15:15

Debate and young doctors

Should every obese patient with type 2 diabetes start a GLP-1 first? Best Case contest for young doctors. Fatty liver and sleep apnoea, the two most often missed.

15:30–16:45

Everyone together

A patient's own story. Hard-cases panel. Build your obesity clinic: setup, team, pricing, follow-up and the NMC advertising rules. Your toolkit to take home.

Hands-on

Six-station workshop, two batches of 50

Runs in a separate hall while the case clinic and the debate go on, so hands-on delegates miss nothing: they get recordings of the sessions they miss and a skills card.

Why Obesity-Ready

Patients are already asking

Generic semaglutide has made treatment cheaper. More patients will walk in asking for it. Doctors need clear answers on who should start, how, and for how long.

Practical, not a lecture series

Short talks, real cases, live voting and hands-on stations. You leave with protocols, handouts and templates you can use the next day.

Generic names, science first

Faculty decide the scientific content and declare their conflicts of interest. Any company session is labelled as such and kept outside the scientific programme.
